When did you know you were a mustang owner for life?

I was handed down a 67 mustang when I was 17. I loved that car till I went to school and sold it to help with the bills . I had other cars (beaters) but nothing made me happy like my Stang did!! After school and some time I bought a 2004 V6 40th anniversary package, and that feeling that I had when I was 17 came back!!!! Drove it for 8 years then upgraded to a 2009 GT!!!! I will NEVER own anything else!! I love my Stang!!!!

What's your story??

This is my past and present car. The 2004 shown was a stand in for photo my actual one was red.

after i crashed my first one...figured if it was strong enough to take a 6 ft jump...land on it's nose, and be tough enough to keep me safe i'd be happy to keep owning them for life...i'm on my 3rd now...i love them

I owned my first mustang when I was 19. It was a 1993 ford mustang Lx with the little 4 cylinder but I was so proud to own a mustang. She was my pride and joy. When my ex fiancé and I split up it wasn't the best and she keyed my mustang and all I that horrible stuff to get to me. I sold her when I moved to Wyoming so I could get out here. Went 7 months without a car and was driving down a main road in Cheyenne Wy my town I live in. I saw a 1999 black mustang Gt. I had to have it. I went and talk to the owner at the car lot. Needed a $2000 deposit and was so bummed because I didn't have it. 2 weeks later my company surprised me with a $2000 bonus check and I walked in and walked out with the keys to her. She is my pride and joy. The love of my life. Nothing else compares to a mustang. I will forever own a mustang.

I've liked mustangs since before I was into cars. But I knew I didn't want anything else when I bought my 68 coupe and joined this forum! I like the sport of drifting and even though mustangs aren't ideal for it, I'd rather drive a mustang than anything else. I wish I had the money to combine the two. Ja.

When I was younger I wanted a early 2000's mustang and saved up to get it but I went ahead and got a new 2006. I totaled that one and everyone was telling me to go get a charger, challenger, g37 and even a camaro. So I went to the Chevy and it felt like I was cheating on my 06 mustang. The next day i went to the ford dealer and got the 2012 5.0.

I have never actually driven a mustang before i decided I wanted one. I have wanted a mustang since i was 14 and started High School. The only Mustang I have ever driven is the one i currently have. I just love the look and sound of them. As well as the power. I'm 18 now and have had my first Mustang for less than a month. Time to go wash her and install my new shifter.

My buddy had a 99 v6 that I absolutely loved, when I first got my license my parents refused to get me a mustang, well my father came home with a 07 dodge durango sport for me, I drove it for a few months and my mother actually fell in love with it, I gave it to her, than my father came home with a 1991 Chevy Caprice with the entire police package and all (thing had ballllls), well I eventually hated that car just for how old it was, it came time for my buddies father to sell his 99 v6 mustang because he was going away to college and no longer needed the car, my buddy called me and said yoo come over I gotta talk to you, I went over there and had a sit down with him and his father, his father proceeded to talk about how much I've always loved that car and he knew it, well he stood up and said give me a 100$ bill and take the car home! I nearly crapped my pants in excitement, I drove that car for almost 3 years with just changing brakes/oil and tires..since than I fell in love and recently grabbed myself an 02 GT

It was back in 1998 (something around that) when i was in high school, some peoples i know have a foxbody 5.0L... I was in love with the car... i remember. i past some dinner time just to look at the car. My parents refuse to get me a Mustang as first car... so they bought me a 96 Ford Escort LX.. I hate this car. In 2006 my close friend bought a 2003 V6 5 speed, he make me a drive and againt fall in love with the car. Only in summer 2012, i bought my first Mustang, a 2004 V6. Since this time, i knew that`s i`m a Mustang fan for life. It took 14 years of dreaming and bad luck to get my first Mustang... But know i got it!

I was like 7 and my neighbors son had.a 1995 mustang coupe with a 5.0 and he took me for a ride and i was in love. Then my dad had some 67 mustang hub caps that i had no idea wtf they were until he told me he had a 67 coupe and a 68 fast back 2+2 and ive loved mustangs ever since... And so last august the weekend before school started my dad showed up in the driveway with a 1998 V6 convertible and then two weeks later.... He showed up with a 1999 GT convertible... He was jealous because i had a convertible...
