Difference?

Is there a difference between the 99-04 mustangs?

The interior of 99-00 and the 01-04 are different. 99-00 have Windsor blocks I believe while the 01-04 have Teskid blocks. I think everything major is the same except for slightly different exterior stuff like Anniversary badges and little stuff like that

yup, nothing super major but there are differences for the V6/GT~ not sure what specifics you are looking for

The GTs have the 4.6l V8 engine while the V6 have the 3.8l V6. They also have separate transmissions and rear ends. But other than that I believe it's the same. I personally have a 2000 GT.

Teskid blocks came in the Mark VIIIs and the 96-98 Cobra. The 99 to early 01 motors were made in the Windsor plant and the late 01-04 motors were made in the Romeo plant. The transmission was also changed in those same years T45 to the T3650
