It's a 94 n there wasn't a gt500 in my body style so I'm building one in memory of my grandfather who raised me. He was a retired navy seal n was the reason I joined the army

Yup. You could have a V6 car, swap a V8 in it, and it still be considered a V6 by its VIN.

Your insurance company charges you by the basic model. Do you really want to pay them more money? Some of the options since your adding them and weren't purchased on a particular model, may NOT insure it.

most insurance companies will only cover up to a certain amount of upgrades, like mine will cover up to $3000 worth. other than that they pay out whatever the cost of the car is according to vin. therefore if your car is (by vin) a '96 V6 and KBB value of $2,000 but you have $10,000 into the car they may only pay you $5,000 and thats if you have everything in there documented correctly and they know about it.

you cant turn it into a gt500 no matter what, about all you can do is get with the insurance company you us and come up with a value its worth, not much else you can do. that will cover you in case of a wreck

It's the vin. I bought a 1970 mach 1 everything on mach was mach but vin on dash read g code for boss 302. No matte what you do to your car the vin and title will always stay the same. NO MATTER WHAT. That's so people can't take a $1000 pos and turn it into gold by vin or parts swapping.
