Is you're a 5 speed or auto? I have o/r X pipe, cai, 18 inch rims 275 35 rear underdrive pullies, 40 series flowmasters. Mine is a automatic and shifts at 6200 and will bark the tires when it shifts. It still has 327 gears.

Automatic (cuz my hands were major crushed). I dont feel like i needed gears after the power adders. Thats why I put 2" taller tires on though. I cant even put my fingers in the wheel wells cuz my tires are so big. I love spinning 3rd at WOT when the temperature is just right.

I have thought about gears but I do a lot of road trips. I am afraid 4.10 is to low. What are you rpm's at 60 and 70 and how is you gas mileage?

My speedometer reads 85mph, My actual speed is 75mph. So its not to far off. Less strain @ city driving. I haven't noticed any mpg drops. I recommend 3.73 with your auto. trans.

With 4.10's at 75-80mph = 2500-2600 RPM's. I was at 2,000 RPM at 75 mph before. So I lost around 500 RPM on the highway. But cruising at 1800-2000 RPM's was never fun for me. :-[

Yep I am at 70 Mph at 2000rpm but I do some long trips and I need to run 70 to 75 for long period of time. I was told that 3,73 would not make enough difference in performance and I don't want to make a 500.00 mistake

Well, stock rear tire outside diameter is 26". And that with 4.10's pulls crazy hole shots off the line. Then I got bored of that and went an inch taller to 27". But the 28" o.d. tire made a HUGE diffrence. Thats why IMO 3.73's with stock height tires would be PERFECT. !!. A very noticeable change.

You can just drive it like you stole it, and keep clean oil in it.

Nice. My Pirellis are 27.9". Goes great with 4.10's. Im sure 285/40/18's would compliment 3.73's

I see no reason to have one if you don't get it out and drive it to show it off. A lot more people see them if they are out being driven than they do if they are sitting in a garage somewhere. Plus I love driving mine so I am trying to see just how many miles I can put on it.
