You will get a lot of answers to this one. Dealership told me the car tells you when it's time, and it can be up to 10k miles based on the driving conditions. I changed mine at 4k, as I'm old school, and 10k worries me.

They recommended 1 k but that seems a bit to soon lol. Have any idea how much dealerships charge for oil changes ? I could do it myself but it's sketchy.

I changed mine at 5k, and 10k. I'll change when it hits 15k. Not sure if you see my pattern but I'll be changing it every 5k, lol.

I don't think I've paid anymore than $36 to have it done at dealer. Eventually I'll start doing it myself, probably when my warranty is up. Honestly I'm not saving much doing it myself, it only comes out to a few bucks cheaper. Yours might be a little more if you have a gt, I think they use more oil.

Mine is a Trakpak Car. It likes the 5/50 Full Synthetic. That runs me about $110 a visit.

Is someone else buying your oil? If not your paying for it one way or another, lol. I change the oil in all my other cars, this is the first car I've ever taken to someone else to do my oil changes. Well maybe not the first but I've been doing my own oil changes for the last 18 years.

The Ford dealership charges $50 for regular oil change and $100 for them to use their synthetic motorcraft blend. $100 for synthetic blend oil change. Ba ha ha ha ha. Yeah right!

Yes it is. I just wish it had the two gauges that his signature replaced. But hey it's still a good looking cluster. You should see it when it's dark out. His signature glows like the gauges do.
Very happy with the car, I'm glad I bought it.
If you in KY stop by and take her out fro a spin.

The oil pressure and battery gauge are useless in my opinion. Mine has read 0 since I got it

I'm looking for a 427R trak pak gauge pod. Not having good luck, I'll probably have to wait until I locate a wrecked one. And I'll steal a few more goodies off of it.

If you financed your car with that, your paying interest on that oil as well unless you paid cash for car.

Your dealer is ripping you of big time. My food dealer charges $26 for synthetic blend and just under $50 for full synthetic oil changes.

Mines a 14 TrakPak and the first oil change at 5000 miles and it was $89.27. I bought the oil from the parts department...$8.16qt x 8 plus FL500S filter for $5.99............$71.27 total......then they charged me $18.00 to change it.
The car now has 8700 and I'll change again at 9700.

How about this;

2010 2014 Mustang FRPP Boss 302 Laguna Seca Gauge Pod | eBay

You can buy gauges and put them in..............or course buying the harness will set you back a months house payment.............I'll have to keep my eyes and ears open.

I appreciate the help, but it has to be a 427R trak pak pod. If you find one of them let me know.

My ford dealership is only charging $36 for the oil change, synthetic blend is all they do when I asked what kind of oil is used. Who knows for that price they are probably just putting water in my engine, lol. $100 seems pretty pricey.

Looked up my receipt, it was actually $41.80 for the synthetic blend at my dealership. First one was $36 with a coupon, lol.
