The car has never broken down on me or not started, which is amazing. I have no smoke or engine noise. However, there are a ton of afrtermarket parts on it.

The parts that I have had to replace because they wore out that I can think of (excluding regular maintenance, for example spark plugs, fuel filter, various filters, drive belt, brakes, etc.) include:

1. Rear lower control arms (bushings shot, horrible squeaking)
2. Rear Upper Control Arm (clunking)
3. Fuel injectors (ticking noise but engine ran fine)
4. Front Strut Mounts (clunking)
5. Ball Joints (creaking)

Really no big repairs and nothing that could not be done in a few hours or less for cheap. It's a manual car with original engine and transmission. I plan on doing some engine work in the near future but not because it's necessary.

I just thought of one more:

6. alternator (annoying whining noise with engine speed, especially over the radio)

No sir, proper maintenance and oil refills I did change shocks and struts at 75k in order to avoid those squeaks. Change your transmission fluid! No one ever changes that lol

Well good! I do the oil every 3000-3500 miles. Shocks, struts will probably happen at 60K miles along with a few other goodies. I don't care about my MT-82, T56 Mag swap in my future.

Just broke 43,000 today and I feel the same. I need to find a truck to daily for work so I don't rack up the miles. Although 12,000 is the annual average in America on an everyday car and since I bought mine in January I have 7,000 so I'm about 3,000 less than the average would be at this point.
