6ers are great for autox and road courses. I've been looking into doing the mods needed on mine for am drift. I'm just hesitant about using my only mustang for drift because I know ill smack a few walls at least.

That crave to go slideways is there, but its outweighed by the concern of turning your only pony into a taco lol

Idk man, I've seen some interesting wrecks from autox.. then again, you have a 4 banger, its a lot harder for 100 hp to get away from you than some of the guys using 3-500 hp cars.. lol
I've been keeping my eye out for a old lx or gt shell cheap, for drift, id prolly use a 2.3 turbo

just get on craigslist or eBay and buy a complete 2.3 turbo motor. you'll toast your pistons or head just putting a turbo on.

Yeah I'd rather do a donor swap, usually cheaper and easier!

Numerous times ive had people ask me if my stang or truck has a 302 or 351 I usually play the nice card being a ford technician you get used to people's stupid comments! Best comments I've heard were during college for ford the other students there for general program would mouth off to two classmates of mine with a 13 Cali special tunes geared and full exhaust and a way way way built 03 cobra ... Had several civics and turbo vw guys try to get them to race they just laughed.... We all used to race almost daily at lunch and the new 5.0 is one nasty animal the cobra and it are neck and neck every race and both are great drivers pretty wild how those 5.0s run!! But that brings up another funny remark have heard alot of people comment on a new mustang and say something bout having a 5.0 on the past not knowing its completely different

I like imports, don't get me wrong but this kid needs a mentor lol
The whole ricer thing has died out though, muscle cars will always be in season

It really is a 2011 though. He did a 2013 GT500 front and rear bumper conversion. Look him up on YouTube.

I had a guy walk up to me not too many days after I had full exhaust and sidedumps put on. Now with the sides open and just cruising around town, some guy rolled down his window and asked if it was the factory exhaust (yea he was serious) I just told him yes and carried on, lol

[QUOTE="dj_james123;1683451"]Okay I'm pretty sure that there was talk about the Nissan 350 Z on here.. Well if not then so be it, my tenant is all excited about his, and thinks his is the fastest thing, say gets 400hp stock with his "turbo" so when I'm standing there, I pull out the iPhone, pull the specs up online, and it says 300hp, I say only has 300. He's like well they dyno at 400. I was laughing on the inside, unless I'm wrong, but where's that extra 100hp coming from..?
I'm pretty sure at the wheel he's probably getting 275ish right? Correct me if I'm wrong..

Then he went on saying his son is coming up and driving his sports car,
me: oh what's that.
Him: Mitsubishi eclipse,

I'm sorry that's not a sports car..IMO

Hahah I've gotten comments along the line of "my eclipse is a gt too" .............. Okay have a nice ride (this is where I peel out hAha)

---------- Post added at 03:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:06 PM ----------

That last comment showed up at the end of the quote. My bad
