I was just told by some guy in autozone that my 4.6L wasn't a "real" mustang. He then proceeded to tell me how I have a baby v8. Wanna know what the best part is? He drives a honda civic. I said as he was walking out, "Ok Mr. 4 cylinder!" I think he got angry after that. As I was done laughing I walked back out to my mustang and as I was putting my oil in the trunk he tried to drop the clutch and spin the tires. Couldn't stop laughing again. He had a huge ricer wing, red racing stripes, and a pipe bigger than a 2 liter bottle.

And will do!
Diesels are made to work not run 1/4 miles in 12s. Yeah its impressive to take a huge piece of truck that fast but that's not their purpose.

Well there's a lot of them that can sure as hell do both. Example a 6.4L powerstroke with a little intake work and a free'd up exhaust with a Spartan tune is going to make a ****load of power on the race tune and be able to run a 12 or close to it. Then the owner just flips it to fuel economy mode and gets 22mpg on the way home.

Doing this to a diesel gives you problems later on down the road. Black smoke is unburnt fuel. Iam sorry but that's pissing your money away. Also smoke stacks are for big truck and heavy equipment that does nothing but work. ha ha iam sorry but o well that's just my opinion.

Lol Rollin' Coal! Anything you modify to be fast/powerful/whatever is going to have a substantially reduced service life from stock in most cases. Just part of the territory.

It can happen, my Duramax was the fastest 1/4 mile car/truck I ever had. Of course I had about $25k in motor mods...got on the low 11's a few times but averaged 11.8 in the 1/4... When you make that much power/torque you start breaking **** all the time...gets expensive

Well, most late model mustangs don't benefit much from putting on a CAI kit, but they came with what is essentially a CAI.

The reason they don't benefit from an aftermarket CAI is BC they came from the factory with a CAI

The stock elbow on a modular necks down to like 2 inches at the main turn. You can't tell me getting rid of that restriction doesn't help. The stock one on my 5.0 cobra was actually decent.
