My friend who recently got a mustang.
"Hey, how much did your intake valve cost, and how much was it to get it installed?"
And by "intake valve" he meant my cold air intake.

Nope. 60' means "60 foot", its the first 60 feet of the 1/4 or 1/8 mile. Its what people always refer to when saying like 2.0 or 1.7 or 2.2 60'. Pretty much determines how fast you get off the line.

Hey now. There's only so much you can expect from a stock i4. Makes all of it's torque from idle.

I thought how fast you get off of the line was your reaction time

How fast you react is your reaction time. That's from when the light turns green to when you start moving. The 60' pretty much says how good you are at launching and keeping traction.

Yupp. I always leave first. Normally cut a .005 light or better.

Most newer ppl cut a 2.0+ 60ft. Getting down to the 1.6 range is good and 1.5 is REALLY good. All depends on the setup too, you can only cut so good of a time without upgrading suspension, driveline, tires etc...

Only thing I can think of...is that right after I got it in 2009 - Somebody came up to me and asked what kind of car it was...and I said a Mustang...they were shocked..."That's a Mustang?!" But it was in a good way...they couldn't believe that a mustang could look this good and so high end.

I was told my bassani exhaust sounds like trash and has no tone. This was coming from someone driving a dodge Dakota with stock exhaust. He also told me that it sounds like I drive in 2nd gear Down side streets. I then told him its probably because I am in second gear dumbass...

Went to take parts to a gm dealership today, saw a beautiful 88 gt sitting in a flat stall. Asked a tech whos it was and it turned out to be his. Asked him what was wrong with it and so he told me he'd show me. I follow him over there and he points at the ford emblem and then at a procharged 347 under the hood. Said hes swapping an ls1 into it because nothing ford has can compete with the power capabilities of the ls series engines. I shook my head, told the car i was sorry, offered him some advice (sell it), and told him to pick up a catfish instead.

That 347 was strong as **** too.. Thats the kicker. I know this because he fired it up to move her out side and watched him light them up with noooo problems what so ever a few hours later. Totally melted the **** out of the rears

Eh, wouldn't be the first fox converted to LS1. I just don't get why ppl like that just don't buy a F body though. It isn't like you can't get a catfish in good shape for under $10k these days... Although if I was to ever get a LS1 it would have to be the WS6.

I've said it before and I know its blasphemy but I would love me a WS6. White with black interior. There is one in our parking lot right now and I love it. Yeah its auto but the autos in those things are pretty good and with a nice stall converter and some ET streets those things run deep into the 11s. If you can keep the rears from blowing the **** up anyway haha.

Anyway back on topic. Here's something stupid I see daily. Guy has a cherry Terminator convertible and gets sent on 3-10 day trips routinely. Thing is just sitting in the parking lot most of the time getting rained/snowed on and not moving. I used to have the same job he has and you get paid a ****load for those trips in per-deim and tax free. He has enough money to buy a $1500 beater to leave in the parking lot and save that Termi... Hell I routinely made $1500+ extra in tax free money while I was flying each month. Went to paying off a bunch of debt racked up when we got our house blah...
