You do know the Mach and Bullitt have the same seats right? Just different upholstery.

He might have had a really big dude (or chick) own the car before him and wear out his seat. I have not had a stock seat bolster like my TMI foams do. Although aftermarket seats are going to hold you in place the best.

That's why I said he wasn't stock if he beat one. I see a lot of mustangs owners on here that seem jealous of the coyote. Its very funny to watch. I drove a new ss 6 speed for about 4 hours and I know for a fact that stock for stock, the 5.0 is much stronger and just an overall better car.

When I was in high school, we went to the local hangout spot at a car wash. I was driving my 1988 Camaro with a 305 and auto transmission. It had open exhaust, an aftermarket hood and some MEAN alternator whine. I was 17 and these 20 somethings were coming up to me asking what kind of supercharger I had. A buddy of mine was there and said there was a guy with a '97 Z28 talking smack on my car like it was his job. He went over and told him if he wanted to race me, just go over and listen to my car. I started it up for him, he heard open headers and that high pitched whine and immediately apologized. I won so many races with that car without even putting it in gear.

That car ran a best of 16.9 in the 1/4.

Not something about my car, but the other day I pulled up to a guy in a nice 04 azure blue mach 1 and I complimented his car and told him that before I bought my 5.0 that I use to own an 03 TR mach 1. I guess he did not hear me because he pointed to his shaker hood and said "it has a shaker, raw old school power, it's also got a 351". I thought to myself I know I just told you that I had one so why are you lying to me lol.

He then said that he liked how the new 5.0s sound like so I revved mine and he said "ahh that made my nipples hard". Weird old man.

And it has a Holley 650 Double Pumper with adjustable floats. And 275/60/15's on the factory 17 inch rims :O And it only costs $12 to fill the tank up completely after being on dead "E"..

stupidest thing anyone has ever said about my car...

There was this girl in highschool who was a total skank. slept around and just gross. She wanted my D and I always was just like, yeah no not happening ill be your friend though. Well she always drove by my house to stalk me to see what i was doing.

One day, Im out cleaning my car, enjoying the sunlight, and I see the usual maroon minivan roll past my house. Im thinking, oh great her. She pulls around and gets out of her car. Looks at it, and points to the wheel. "Is that broken?". I say "..is what broken?". "The wheel, I can see the ground through your wheel."

facepalm.

My Wife and older brother don't think my car will go anywhere in the snow. They're both like "Did you press the 4x4 button?" And yet they have car payments and thier SUV's get half the mpg I get.. AND.. there's also the fast factor

Haha thanks to the past week of snow/ice on the roads I've had those questions too. All my co-workers drive 4cyl fwd automatics and kept talking about how they get stuck in their neighborhoods and ask me how many times I've suffered the same fate. Their faces when I tell them "no, I have a 6spd and traction control...and I've been doing this for 7 years" is priceless.

Not really something stupid someone's said about my car, but I was trying to explain to my dad what the tuner and new x-pipe I got will do to the car. Pretty sure I lost him at "the pipe between the headers and exhaust pipes."

Did he ask what size xarb you're sportin' and tell you the old "no start" trick? Tap on the Bowl and look thru the eye ball window with a flash light to make sure the float is adjusted" If you're smart enough to stop toilet water from running, you can adjust the float" LOL..

Haha, I'm sure you can deduce that I'm the first generation car guy. My dad had some pretty cool cars growing up, but never knew how to work on them past a tune up and never did any customization, even through a shop. My uncle got into doing his own work about 15 years ago when he bought a classic Corvette and has been giving me a hand on the Mustang.

I tried to tune the 650 double-pumper I had on my old Camaro. Had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Ended up selling the car before I fixed it.

No exactly about my car but it
My dads friend has a challenger and is a hard core mopar guy and he sees my new hash marks on my fender and laughs and say why did you put mopar strips on your ford I Look at my car then him and go what you mean those stripes don't go down the side and break in to square at the end. He then says evey one knows that stripes on the finder is something only mopar does I go umm know the stripe along side and breaking in to squares is pretty much only a mopar thing like hockey stick stripe is really only a Chevy thing and the boss strip is a ford thing, not a have to do thing and stay brand specific but the hash mark was something they started in the 60s with race cars cuz If there were 3 team cars and they were painted exactly the same they could not tell who was who so they put the hash mark on the side each car on team had diffrent color. He says I am full of **** I tell him to google it and guess what the same thing I said came up..... Oh I drew I diagram from him as well and lady's and gentlemen I did it in 3 seconds so don't judge my drawing Click image for larger version
