Eh, some ppl know just enough to know its easy to swap a lot of stuff. However with the Fobras most ppl do not get the wing right on the 94/95 and 99, most of the time the airbags are not correct as well as you mentioned. I have NEVER seen a 5.0 Fobra with the right wing/decklid and also have never seen a 99/01 Fobra with the right tail lights.

If I was asked that I would say, "yes it is falling perfectly level while keeping the tips right in the arches of the bumper where they should be". People are goddamn morons about cars AND computers. Both of which are now necessary to work and live for the most part so you'd think ppl would know more about them but nope.

He says I am full of **** I tell him to google it and guess what the same thing I said came up..... Stupidest thing I've heard is when I took a friend, who is the most non mechanical guy you'll ever meet, for a ride in the Stang, and after a roar through the first 3 gears, he looked at me dead serious and said "I've never felt power like this since I was driving my girlfriends Mazda 3". I'm sure one can only imagine the look I had on my face when he was done. The words I said were even better.

Not even close. Of course, this is the same guy who really thought he could give many sports cars a run for their money with the girlfriends Mazda 3, which made it clear that he hadn't driven many cars in his life. His current and first car is a 2000 V-6 Solara, which in his little world is a beast. Poor guy.

Ppl think that because their V6 sedan can push them back in the seat for an instant when they floor it from a stop that they have a race car. That's a combination of the converter and a really steep 1st gear in the trans. You can get to 15mph really fast, have fun when I'm at 60 and you are still at 30 lol.

Not a Mustang story but funny IMO ,,,

Once I had my 1964 Chevy Corvair parked and two 20-something guys asked me if my Corvair was a new Thunder Bird. (This happened at the time Ford reintroduced the T-Bird)

He then said that he liked how the new 5.0s sound like so I revved mine and he said "ahh that made my nipples hard". Weird old man.

Because hash marks were originated from mopar vehicles. Well that's what they put them on stock at least

When I had my 03 gt i needed a throw out bearing and i called autozone and told them what I was looking for, well once they asked me if my car was auto or manual i decided to take my business to someone else lol.

Not about a mustang but we hired a 20 year old 350z fanatic a few months back and hes a tiny little guy (literally trembles when trying to carry 1 rotor for an f-350). Well hes always talking crap on everything other then his 350z and seriously knows nothing about it other then whats on the brochure. A buddy of mine heard him talking trash on his twin turbo duratrash and went in to the store and told him he needed the plugs and wires for it. I **** you not this dude was looking for them for at least 45 minutes.

I've actually noticed the quality of the autozone around here is surprisingly good. Maybe with the job market so crappy they can be a little more selective? One guy who is ex army working there started talking to me about the AF when I pulled out my ID for military discount and ended up telling stories about the customers they deal with on a regular basis since I had come in armed with part numbers. Seems to me that for every idiot behind the counter at autozone/advance we have to deal with they have 50 ****** customers which I can believe recently having a guy in front of me asking where they kept oil filters for his "Grand Pricks".

The part about the dude in the shop making fun of the Duramax looking for plugs and wires for it is pretty damn funny though. We do **** like that to new guys working on the aircraft. Make them do a radar check where they go out and swing a chain over their heads to "calibrate the beam" or take an air sample which involves running down the cargo compartment with a big garbage bag open and then tying it up really fast. Few others too. Good stuff.
