Hood props

Plan on buying the hood props that eliminate the prop rod, ? is how hard is the install? On a scale of 1 - 10 mechanically I am a solid 5, lol. Any suggestions or recomendations? Does anyone have these mods?

I did my hood struts by myself. It took about 35 minutes. Scale of 1-10 about a 4. You'll love them.

I bought the black ROUSH ones, but I think they are all about the same. All the ones I read said easy install with no drilling you use the existing holes in the hood.

The only thing I had to do with the ones I bought was trim the black plastic by the lower strut.

Redline hood struts. $120 painted to match car, no drilling, 10 minutes to install.

Simple project...no drilling and even lifts the hood up higher than the OEM prop.

I've got the black MMD strut kit. I've had them over a year, no problems. It's a simple design, I can't see how they'd be any less quality then Roush or Steeda. I think I paid $89 for mine.
