Car Show Tips and Tricks

Anyone got any tips or advice to standing out at a car show? I've been working on a display sign for my stang at shows. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

detail detail detail...go over that engine bay with a fine tooth comb lol. before shows i'll even pop my wheels off...tire shine the wheel wells and wash and wax the inner wheel wells. heck i have a little sixxer and i love popping the hood at shows...today i painted my fuse and radiator cover to match the car to help clean it a bit. good way to spend $8

i'll be painting my upper intake black next, and painting some of the pulleys to colormatch the car

Yea before the last show I literally went over my engine with some "mean green" degreaser and a tooth brush for 3 hours but I paid off lol. I like you idea about painting things under the hood to match. I was thinking about doing something to the hood insulator too. Like to make the pony design stand out. Like what's in my trunk

My insulator is going to come off and I'll be cleaning up the area underneath. My last two cars never ran either. Instead I'll cut me a piece of reflective lexar or something like that for shows...gotta figure a mounting system but I've seen it at shows before and its awesome.
