Looking for clean up my rims

Currently i have stock aluminum alloy rims on my stang. I just bought a powder-coating kit and im thinking about powder-coating my rims.
Does anyone know how i can remove all the clear coat & ect to get the rims down to bare metal?? I dont have access to a sand blaster, what other ways can i get the wheels to bare aluminum? I heard aluminum is very soft & you must be careful on what you choose to do. Can someone give me advice on what will work?
Thanks, here is a pic of my rim

Hey man I actually powder coated my intake plaque and sanding that little piece down to get all shut it has collected over the years took a while and we got to shine pretty good. I could only imagine doing 4 wheels you might want to look in to plasti dipping them. Don't get me wrong the powder coating is really nice and will look better then plasti dip but will be alot of hard work but if your up for the challenge go for it!!

Yea! I just peeled off my plastidip. I like the way it looks with black wheels, but i like the variety of colors for powder-coating haha
