Yeah, it works because of your BAMA 91 HYBRID TUNE.

You obviously don't know much about automatics, or you wouldn't be trashing them.

People get autos for their own reasons, wether they don't know how to drive or just for more ease of use or for their family to drive. That's their choice so no need to belittle others for what transmission they have on their car.

You have no clue how my car runs or anything you ****ing idiot. Dude I am a car dealer. I have driven more mustangs than you have seen on the road you turd. Fast once, slow once, autos, and sticks. And it's pretty clear. People who buy autos don't know how to control the car and it's power. Buy manual like a real man.

Wow I'd rush right out and buy a car from you.
BTW I have an auto and know how to drive the best of the manuals.
You keep your gas pedal to the floor when you speed shift?

Automatic transmissons have came along way and yes they ARE better for drag racing than a manual ! But is it as fun? No

Well said haha

But manuals do put down more HP to the rear-wheels than autos. That's a known fact.

Seriously?! Your first and only post on the forums is to revive an old thread only to say something that is completely ignorant. I got an auto because 1st and 2nd gear in a manual are basically useless in the winter here in Alaska due to how cold it gets. Plus, it's a lot easier to watch out for the idiot drivers who lose control of their vehicles when I'm not having to fight with those gears.

Hmm, well taking your statement at face value, looking at how you write, I guess that means you have an automatic.

If you want consistent performance at the drag strip, then you want an automatic. The automatic is also a tougher transmission, will take more abuse, and you can't outshift a properly tuned automatic car.

On a road course, you want the manual so you can quickly select the gear you need. That is where the manual will always have an advantage over the automatic.

How to burnout?
You put your left foot in
You put your right foot in
You take your left foot out and you shake it all about.
(Applies to both auto and manual)
In manual you push on clutch, and auto you push on brake just long enough to start spinning them

It's a little different on a 2013+ automatic. Stock tunes have torque management that won't let you get over 2000 RPM if you brake torque. Need a tune to override the system

In the end when it all comes down to it it's what makes you happy. I've driven both-don't be so quick to jump on one over the other because some opinionated dealer said its a "mans car". That's a pretty bold statement, and frankly sounds as if he measures his testosterone level using a dipstick under the hood of his car. It has been argued but I think a few benefits of auto and manual we can agree on are: Manuals are more fun on curvy roads, possibly get better gas mileage in stop and go traffic (depending on how you drive.) Autos are easier, and in my opinion better for long road trips. I would suggest test driving both before you decide, your the one who has to live with it.
