How many speeding tickets?

Was wondering....

How many speeding tickets do you have?

Highest speed you ever got ticketed for?

Funny story?

Total in fines you have might spent so far?

89 in a 65..most cars were going 75-85, nailed me with 89 when I was passing, gave me a careless driving ticket, luckily that's it he didn't include the speeding ticket since he wrote me up for careless, 200$ fine,

Oh... As for me?

Too many, like 98% of my tickets are on country roads, and highway. Never in city.
Safely as well of course I barely drive over 85 if there's medium- heavy traffics.
But you just never know where police are hiding... .__.

136 warning ticket in 70. I was only 15 year old kid, driving out in night. No one was on the road but the cop.

Most recent was a 90 in 70. A Camaro pulling up to me at 85, I decided to go ahead teach a Camaro a lesson by getting front of it. Lol...
I let him pass me at 80 before pressing gas. Thank god I didn't slam on it, otherwise would've gotten 140 in 70.
I wanted to play with Camaro till it speed up. But cop got Camaro and me.

No car was within about 2 miles, clean straight road. Updated highway.
So was safe to speed.

Total in fines all of ticket I have received, is probably well over 2 grand. Over the years.
Including surcharges.

I'm currently in "no more speeding mind".

136 in 70 and just a warning for double the speed? What country do you live in?

It was in 2009 I believe, close to Granbury, tx.

Very lucky tho. Also, I made the police laugh. x:

Forgot my license ID, no adult over 21, pass curfew, and didn't remember my address because recent moved at the time.

Ya, they arrest you for that here. I got a ticket in 1979 for doing 57 in a 55 and a lecture about the gas I was wasting.

Ouch. I didn't even get arrested. Very lucky.

Guess your arresting police officer was in bad mood...? Or just a big friendly- green guy. o.O

Back then you would get a ticket any where in the country for going 60. The cops blamed you for the gas shortages. Everyone had a cb radio for a good reason.

Lmao. Oh the good old days. As for me, alot. I dont think that I've ever had a clean driving record. But, I drive alot. Well over a million miles in the vehicles I've owned over the years. It's an odds game. Deserved every one of those tickets. Just paying my dues.

Hell I've been driving for almost 2 years and I know I have road rage, I will get on it all the time, I even did a burnout in the same parking lot as a cop once, still never been pulled over for anything. Guess I'm a lucky one, but as of a last week I'm really trying to control my road rage and drive a lot easier.

People had a lot more respect back then. Kids today don't even respect themselves let alone ther fellow man. Murder was nearly unheard of.

Agreed.
I am a young guy. And I have a strict rule on myself.
Most kids out there just makes me look bad for my age with a nice hard work earned car.

Know what ya mean, I used to avg 65k mi a year so I got more tickets than I care to remember. I went to enough defensive driving classes I could've taught the class. Now they let you do it on line, how's that punishment, try sitting in 8hrs of class.

****. Would not speed or anything stupid in California. I'm scared of that law, they crush your car. Heart will literally drop to floor if I ever saw my car being crushed.

Got a ticket for doing 80 in a 45.
Got a ticket for doing 30 in a school zone but it wasn't even school zone time this was around 6pm & i wasn't speeding because the speed limit is 35.
Also got a ticket for parking in the wrong direction in front of my house.(stepdad paid it cuz he said that was a stupid reason to ticket someone).

So you know, if someone hits your car parked facing the wrong way, they can rule it your fault. I know It's lame, but they can.

I've had 3 but all of them were in other cars. 1 in a Altima and 2 in my old f150. I did get clicked going 74 in a 50 and the cop let me off with a warning. I pulled over as soon as I saw him so he wouldn't have to chase me and then made my girlfriend get out and walk, told him she was late to class and was just trying to get her there on time. Supposedly it was a 750-800 fine just I drove off with a smile, warning, and a pissed off girlfriend.

Way Back when... I had my 02 GT I was traveling threw Ohio on my way to NC. I was close to the Kentucky boarder. I was coming up on a bend in the road running about 120, there was an 18 wheeler in the right lane just taking the bend in the road. As I come to the back of the truck, I see a Trooper setting in the median in front of the truck on my side of the road in the bend. My Laser detector goes ape ****... I saw him in time to get slowed down to 80...It was a 75, and as I rounded the bend the trooper pulled out behind me FAST....I thought he got me...I think he did but couldn't prove it was me...He just followed me to the boarder....I got real lucky...In Ohio, Mexico

4 tickets, all before the mustang, probably about 800-1000 in fines and it was for 75 in a 55, but I was slowing down from 120+ before he got me, i got lucky.
