Just curious...SPEED

After being on some other threads I would like to know what the fastest you have ever been in/on a car/bike/truck...(official or unofficial)

Closed Race Track of course....

I was clocked (radar) 183 in my dads 2003 C5 Corvette...

I hit 226 (GPS) on my old race bike... BUILT, 2001 Honda RC51...220HP to the tire.

140 on the speedo of my 1996 Mustang GT, I had it maxed out.

I hit 140 +/- the other day in my 2012 GT the other day,she had more in her. However, I had to back off because of traffic, aaahhh, I mean slower cars on the track.

That 2003 c5 is soo nice. My boss has one but only went 120. That thing holds the road so well!

They are great cars...It was my first choice (C6 Vette) but my wife said it had to have a back seat. I said OK and came home with a Pony

I've consistently hit 115 on the back straight at our local track with a best of 117 or so. I don't care too much about trying to test how fast I can reach though.

Sounds like my dad...he wont do anything to that thing.
Just a simple exhaust, tune and air intake it will probably break 200MPH...not that he would ever go that fast. I have a hard time getting him to break 80 on the interstate.

I know that lol. I just got my license so I haven't done anything crazy. Kinda scared. The most I've done is like dead stops to 60 and some tire spinning.

Stay smart man.. Keeping a clean driving record helps a lot.. Not just with insurance, but even with getting a job, depending on what you plan on doing for work of course. I only got my job at the age of 19 because of a clean driving record. And to the original questipn .. I've only gone like 90 in the Mustang just for a little bit.. I'll hit it harder later though.. still trying to master the manual transmission so that stops me from "having too much fun".

Plan on keeping that. Want to be a surgeon. I feel you with the stick though. Luckily I learned in a Mini Cooper beforehand lol.
