That's a hard choice. I thought it was a no brainer on wheels until I saw the car was a Shelby. What do you like more....power or looks?

The real question is: Power or looks? I would say power

Power is addictive. But I want my car to look good. I'm surrounded by guys that has ZR1's and Calloway ZO6 vettes and tuned shelby's. They make more power than me so far. I want to at least get in to the same ball park as them.

Definetly do a pulley swap then. And maybe some cams.

Well. The place that's installing it ordered it. Place called injected engineering. It's a 2.6 metco pulley, extreme duty idler kit, JLT cold air intake, NGK spark plugs, and there tuner. I'm getting it dyno tuned too.

See if they will baseline it before the mods, so you know what you're starting with..
What kind of hand held ?

Well I bought my Shelby used so I don't know what that original owner did to it. Only thing I know of that it had a K/N CAI, high flow cats, and exhaust. I don't know if he had tuned it or what.

It made 512 on the baseline right? I think our cars have to be tuned when a cai is added. Not 100% on it. I know mine did when I added the JLT. What pulled did u go with? I went with a 2.50 VMP S/C pulley and its crazy!

Idk for sure. U will see some good gains tho. I talked to Justin at VMP tuning about it when I put it on. That and the 2.50. He said with an aggressive tune it would be easy to see 570 rwhp. I need to get dyno'd but idk about spending the money to do it.

---------- Post added at 07:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:02 PM ----------

Did u add the 90mm idler pulley?

Awesome man. Good luck! I can't wait to see the numbers.

I'd love to do more, u know how it is. I'd like to o/r x or h and lower pulley swap, FRPP oval throttle body.

That'd be about it with the stock blower.

It's just so expensive to mod our cars. Lol. I guess we gotta lay to play.

The throttle body body and lower pulley are both 700 each.

Smh. I know. Wish money grew on trees. Lol. But Horsepower is addictive.

---------- Post added at 08:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:00 PM ----------

I want to get a dual fan heat exchanger before I purchase a lower pulley. That's like $800.00.

Lmao. Exactly. Been looking at those kits too.

Lol. I'm about to sell my shoes for mods. Any interest? Horsepower is one of those things that when u get used to it, there's a need for more and more and more. Does ur car hook up pretty good?

I have a feeling that I received a horrible dyno tune. I only made 15 more torque and went down 5 in Horsepower. :-/
