Plasti dip the hood?

I'm thinking of plasti dipping my hood tomorrow, weather permitting. What do you guys think it would look good? How many cans should I buy? If by one has done this b4

you are talking plasti dipping it while keeping the strips on the rest of the car? I think that is going to look extremely tacky.
