I paid for my 03 in cash, but it was only 6k. I don't like payments either. We only make payments on our house for obvious reasons, but not on vehicles.

We like to believe if we can't pay for something all up front, then can't afford it. It makes life much easier, less stressful, and much more enjoyable.
