they hit my car..

So my stupid neighbor hit my front bumper nd made a scratch on top of the license plate it cracked the paint nd also there's a big dent on the side of the bumper under. The signal lights.. he swears he didn't do the dent since he was backing up he could only hit the front.. but the dent wasn't there earlier today and there's no marks or any scratches on the dent.. what can I do?? The dent I can repair it my self but the front scratch is about 2 inches.. he said to file a claim with the insurance but I doupt insurance will want to fix that.. any advice?

His insurance has no choice but to fix it, no matter how minor. I'd make sure they fix the dent too.

The bumper flexing could have made the dent.

Insurance has no choice but to fix it. With changes in weather, that crack will eventually spider wed and get larger. File the report and have it taken care of

They have to fix it like said above. So get his info and insurance company and advise your insurance company what happened. Once you give your insurance company all his info they will handle everything. That's what you're paying them for.

I had a kid back up into my front bumper dead center, 1 inch crack, chipped paint but found out it also broke the drivers side headlight mount. Don't take much force to do damage
