Whining noise from rear end...

When I let off the gas above 40 i get a whining noise from the rear end, it stops when i press the gas again. Any thoughts.....

My guess is a bad pinion bearing.

Now I'm wondering if my extended warranty will cover it. Also am I better going to a ford dealer or an independent shop. Who will work with me more on the extended warranty?

Find a performance Ford dealership
