Special package @ local dealership

So. I had seen it a while back when it was for sale.and it did not sale for a long time. But I guess somebody finally bought it. They marked it up like 7500 for the (rocky ridge) package. Which was suspension, rims, blue stripes, and a bunch of cf. Under the good had some blue also. But I don't get a pic of that.

He means there is no such thing as a rocky ridge package. They car is worth no more than a car you'd buy off the lot stock and mod yourself.

It isn't an official car like the Roush or RTR.

Not an official package. A lot of dealers will add decals and appearance mods to get more money

Rims 1500, stripes 100 , suspension 1300 doesn't sound like 7000 more for a regular GT

Oh yeah I knew that. They do it to there trucks also. Lift them and paint some things. I meant a local special package. And I agree. Not worth the extra money. It was a 13 that they brought on in 2012 with their first shipment and it was there when I got my last oil change a couple months ago. It sat there for nearly a year while 5.0's flew off that lot.

---------- Post added at 03:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:58 PM ----------

Rocky ridge is basically a truck performance shop around here I believe. And I guess they tried to do something special with a car. Wasn't a smart Idea though. The trucks do good with that package tho.

Rocky Ridge package makes it sound like the car was built for off-roading...

I don't want a mustang built (or seemingly) for off-roading.

It doesn't look good. No wonder it didn't sell quickly.

It's a dealer aftermarket package like the Yenko camaros from the old school days. Except the Yenkos are worth money. We are talking $400k range.

Ugly wheels, ugly stripes and horribly named package. I do love the rear decklid emblem though.

dont pay a penny more than half of what they are asking for the markup plus a discount on the car to top it off.

Only thing on that "package" i like anyway is the suspension, but thats all depending on what they did. If all it is, is a cheap set of lowering springs, without any supporting mods id rather have stock suspension. Wheels and decals are hideous IMO.

All the more reason not to pay what they are asking. The longer a car sits on the lot, the more leverage you have in the deal.

My car was a dealer "Roush package" ... I know now that I could have done it all myself or even hired it out for 1/2 what they charged ... but live and lean ... and I've spent three times as much as the extra they charged since then ... addicting!

Yeah - I'd much rather have the "Bullwinkle Ridge" package, but the antlers are on back order...

mustang

Well i guess theres a bum for every seat......i bought that Mustang. Its now in Australia. I actually love the car and when i saw it the 1st time i thought wow.
The car was altered by Rocky ridge, Called the (Ghost pack)...came with lowered suspension, carbon fiber badges all round and carbon engine intake cover, flowmaster exhaust, metallic blue stripes, special lighting inside.....and Foose rims. The car sounds great, looks great and for the folks that hate it...you must be nuts...its pretty damn hot to me.

Hi Rosario70, can i ask, how much you paid for the car? I don't mind it, but i'm sure the hard core Mustang lovers might not agree by the responses. How does it run?

Just to clarify, Rocky Ridge is a"real package" they mainly do lifted vehicles but they are like any of your Roush, Foose, Super Snake packages. They start out as stock cars and are customized by the said performance shop. By saying this package isn't real is like saying a Shelby Super Snake or a GT350 isn't a real package.
