Emergency with flywheel. Help!

I purchased an Exedy Mach 500 stage 3 clutch and a RAM steel flywheel. I have it at the dealership for warranty work on the transmission. I was having them install the inch and flywheel while they were at it. They said that the bolt (not sure which ones, he didn't specify) are too long and "bottom out." I called American Muscle and they have no idea what I'm talking about. If I don't drop the bolts off tomorrow before work they're putting my stock parts back in. Anyone know what bolts these are or where I could get them from? Thanks!!

The person telling you what bolts wont fit needs to specify which don't fit...

Yeah the didnt. And they didn't tell me what the part number or anything was. All the said was that they're the bolts that attach the flywheel to the pressure plate.

If they dont know the exact part or wont describe what part there isn't much to help. Im sure theyre still going to try and charge for labor that wasnt done but if they revert back to stock and dont charge id just try to have a performance shop do it.

They have my trans open for warranty work so it was only gonna be $100 for install. And they'll still warranty it.

It's tough to know what bolt they're talking about, with the little information they have provided you with. I would ask the dealership if they can get the bolt or grind the bold down a little bit, so that it doesn't bottom out! They already have the trans out, it would stink to put it all back together, just to take it apart again when you can see what bolt you need.

I wish I could be more help, I would Stress the dealership to look into this a little bit further for you!
