A nurse from this morning parked next to my car and swung opened her door and hit my car. She didn't even acknowledge she hit my car door. (I was inside my car playing candy crush at the time) Lol what are some of the worst things that have happened to your Mustangs while parked?

I had the same thing happen recently. A nice ding on 1 week old paint. I think that the next time that it happens, Im going to get the offending parties insurance information and go that route. Sometimes, I think, it's just an accident, but other times it's just people being careless. Regardless, it's the reason that we all carry insurance...

what got to me is the fact that she did not even acknowledge she hit my car when I clearly heard the bang. I came out of the car and told her, miss you just swung your door into my car. She said she was very sorry and that accidents happen sweety blah blah blah. Then I told her please don't park near this mustang if your going to continue doing that ****. I would have let it go if she did not try and walk away as if I was never in the car. She left a nice amount of silver paint on my sterling gray door but like I said before I would have let it go if she actually didn't try walking away. (I had to stop her)

You did the right thing on calling her out about that *****, and yea accidents happen an people that are in the wrong should pay for them also. I don't know if you want to even bother but I would take her to small claims court. That's your paint job bro that ain't cheap to get fixed, you seem like chill guy cause I woulda been fried if I saw it or heard it happen. my family knows I'm bipolar when it comes to my Stang.

Worse thing (so far)...trunk lid got dinged (bird strike?) when car on OTR transport to me. Their insurance wouldn't cover it as below 5-Star's deductible. May that be the worse to come my way.

Very true. I think I'll start parking next to expensive cars at my work. I feel like the people who own expensive cars have mutual respect for one another. Same goes for people who own clean Mustangs.

I agree , but not always true , one of my coworker has 80k + car and no one will park next to him because HE is notorious for denting cars with his door,

that's why I bought a insurance policy that covers that exact problem when I bought my stang --I know it will happen sooner or later to me too
