Buying GT pre next week, should i get track pack

I am going to be ordering a GT premium. I have bounced back and forth about getting the track pack. I don't plan on racing this car at all, so are the TP benefits worth it for just DD? Also, if I order the car with standard 18" wheels and put on 19" after, will I have to ajust computer for this or is it ok?

As far as the track pack, its completely up to personal preference. For myself, i decided to pass on it. The only option i really wanted were 3.73s. The track pack apps are cool, but figured after the first month, i probably would never touch them again.

As far as the 19"s go. No you will not need to adjust anything.

If you don't ever plan on tracking the car then skip the track pack. As far as wheels, if you got from 18's to 19's but keep the same diameter tire, nothing will happen.

I personally would look for a 13' still left on the lot. You're gonna get a better deal and you don't have to wait 6+ weeks to get your car. You don't seem to be too picky so getting a car off a dealer lot should be more than enough for you. Good luck

I was set on finding a GT with the track pack and I didn't even know how to drive stick.. if you're getting it only because its an option/upgrade just pass on it like I did. It did come with 3.73's though.. and definitely consider the left over new 13's on the lot.. They want to be rescued too My GT was the last new 13' at the dealership I was at..

Actually I'm very picky about what I want. I'm a salesman's worst nightmare. I am only getting rear cam on a GT pre '400 pack. Was going to get the bright alum wheels with black windows but thinking I will order all black tires and wheels from AM. So I have to order cause can't find a car anywhere with just this.
I was considering the track pack cause I'm in Vegas and was thinking that oil cooler and boss radiator would be better here for the heat.

50 years from now that same car will be sitting somewhere and the owners wished it had that rare option of track pack on it. Lol no but I've looked at a lot of cars and if I were you I'd get those super cool options that way when it's antique a marti report will confirm your car was that 1 of 1

What exactly does TP get you.

1 boss radiator
2 oil cooler
3 brembo brakes
4 19 wheels
5 3.73

Am I missing anything. Are there any improvements to engine above GT

The Mustang GT is powerful. Add a little more dynamic performance with the GT Track Pack and get ready for more attitude on every journey. The GT Track Pack includes:

• TORSEN® helical differential with 3.73:1 axle ratio
• Upgraded Boss® 302 radiator
• Engine oil cooler
• High-performance Brembo™ brake pad friction material upgrade
• Brembo™ Brake Package
• Upgraded front and rear brakes (with unique caliper finish) and booster
• Unique front corner modules
• 19 x 9.0 premium paint (dark stainless) aluminum wheels and 255/40-19 summer-only tire
• Tire mobility kit (HJBAB)
• Unique ESC module tuning

Available on coupe model with manual transmissions only
TORSEN® is a registered trademark of JTEKT Torsen North America, Inc.

I like the track pack for the brakes. I live in Phoenix and I'd like to think the bigger radiator and oil cooler help.

Does TP come with boss shifter or same as regular GT
I was watching done reviews and they hinted at it is a different shifter than standard GT

I got the 2014 GT with the Track Pack, I love it. Got the Ruby Red. The only thing I want to change is to put a Air Raid on and change the tune.
