Help!! Cant get this crap off!!!

Please somebody tell me they know how to get this crap off without hurting the paint!! I was driving to work this morning, and had to go through some road work where they were paving. It literally looks like gravel and tar caked all over the inside of my wheel wells, all along the rocker panel, and behind the rear tire. I cannot get it off! I have even tried using a ice scraper inside the wells, and no luck. Please somebody help. Im gonna be so pissed if this stuff is stuck all over my brand new car.

Just spay it down with wd-40, it will soak then the big stuff willl fall off, take a rag n soak it in wd-40 and wipe to get rest of it. For getting tar off fenders n rockers

Thanks for the tip. But I tried wd40 already, and unfortunately it didn't work.

Im outta options guys. I went and get the turtle wax tar remover today, and this stuff STILL will not budge. Not even a bit. Gonna go back and get the name of the company and call to complain. Also gonna try and get in touch with the county. This is BS. It literally destroyed my rocker panel and wheel wells. I dont wanna even imagine what the under carriage looks like.

Yeah im gonna see if i can find something stronger then the turtle wax stuff. I tried using a razor but this stuff is caked on so think in my wheel wells it would literally take me a week to scape it off. I really have no clue what the hell it is at this point. Tar would have long came off by now.

Its worth a shot, if i can find a power washer.... Right now im more concerned about the actual rocker panel and bumper where its actually on paint. Luckily im lowered so the wheel wells aren't THAT noticeable.

I'll look into it. Thanks man

After looking at pictures on Google and comparing, im 99.9% sure that it's not tar.... Is asphalt sealer. Which explains the sandpaper like texture. Freaking wonderful.

Screw this crap! Whatever the hell it is! So i went and bought kerosene and some mineral spirits today, and with ALOOOOOT of hard elbow grease it seems like this stuff was breaking down just a little bit. Stop to give my arm a rest and noticed that the little particles that were coming off were scratching the HELL out of the paint. Im lost. Looks like my only hope is turning it into the insurance company.. Which means im gonna get stuck paying a $500 deductible. Awesome.

Oh i will be trust me. Gonna get the name of the company on my way to work tomorrow and call them first thing, as well as the county. My good friends mother is a legal assistant for a pretty successful law firm, and she told me its going to be tough to get the county or the company to pay out though. Northern VA sucks like that. They could care less about the people here. But im keeping my fingers crossed.

Id even be happy if they agree to ATLEAST pay for my deductible.

He's talking about an eraser pad. Here's a link I googled randomly for one:
Eraser Pad Pinstripe from Sears.com

Yeah unfortunately I don't think thats gonna work. Whenever I do happen to make a little progress the particles just basically turn into sandpaper and is just scratching the hell out of the paint. Obviously i have been using nothing but micro fiber towels the whole time as well.
