Twin tubro questions?

So I was talking to my friend about a opinions.

I want to put twin tubro but can't because I'm planning to wait for money saved up to do a swap 4.6l to 5.0l coyote with new twin tubro for the 5.0l.

So the question we got "scratching heads" on was

Would you be able to use twin turbo on 4.6l and then transfer it to the 5.0l coyote?

I was thinking - no because of the exhaust sizes & oil pan replacements? Might now allow the 4.6l twin turbo to be fixable on the 5.0l coyote swap..

I'm sure you could. The main parts are the turbos.most if not all of the tubing would need to be reworked.

The better question is why would you want to? If you are planning to drop a coyote in, then wait to put the turbos on that. Putting twins turbos on is no easy task and in the end is going to cost you so much more to go from one motor to completely different one.

Because I want to keep 4.6l till it pass away, but at the same time it's hard to not mod my motor because its just so damn fun.

I was thinking of your awnser, as well. So sounds it'll be okay for me to go ahead try get twin turbo in my car.

I am aware of that, I wrote all items I would need for the set up.
Just wasn't sure if I can put twin turbo from 4.6l to 5.0 coyote if I needed to swap motor.

I tried googling. But I think I typed it wrong in google. Therefore this forum.

Thanks guys.

No problem, it might be easier, less time consuming and cheaper if you sell the 4.6, buy a 5.0 and then do whatever FI you want to do with it

You're right.
But I just want to use up the Motor life before swapping it out.
I'm pretty sure I will get only 1,000 if I sold the motor.. Waste of money to me when I could just put twin turbo enjoy the f out of it, then switch out to 5.0.

Either ways I would lose money to enjoy my car. (:

Wish I could say a $1000 and countless hours of work was a waste to me as well. But like MidnightBlueGT said, whatever makes you happy. Good luck with the build.

On3 is coming out with a TT kit for the 4.6L this fall according to the owner, Chris. IMO, stick with the 4.6L and build it up. Don't get me wrong, the Coyote is a great motor but give me a Terminator motor any day over the Coyote and twice on Sunday.
