2001 Bullitt vs 2003 350z

Ok so my friend has a stock 2003 350z and we want to race each other. I will have 285s summer tires in the back, 91 Hybrid tune, o/r exhaust, and an MGW shifter... Who should win? Assuming drivers are equal.

Just realized I put this in the wrong section.

it would be close. your mods will help. the 350z rolls out. if it was the 370z though you would need a little more. they dont put down big #'s bit they roll out

They'd have a better chance if it were the 07+ 350 with the hr

you shouldn't have any issues with '05 and under 350z's...they didn't get an engine power bump till '06

From a roll... dunno... if you have gears and sticky tires and can launch really well you should murder him from a stand still.

Not exactly sticky tires. But I'll have 18x10s in the back. I'm looking into getting some control arms. I'm still on stock 3.27 gears though.

Don't roll with 3.27 unless he agrees to roll at like 45-50mph so you're in 2nd at 3-3.5grand

It's the ones that came in the wheel/tire package on AM. So I'll have those for the time being until I need new ones, then I'll upgrade to 305 555r's

Those hook relatively good. That's what I have and on street they aren't bad if you clean them off and launch.

your GT will win. The 350z is slow until 2006. Just launch your car right and you will beat him with your mods.

The 350z wasnt slow it was still a pretty quick car the only difference in the 07 up z is the hr motor which adds a little bit more power and can take some more abuse but both were good engines the hr just has the upper hand of the two and the gt should take it giving the reaction time of the driver is decent but the z isnt slow by any means.
