Cleaning an aluminum shift ball

Hi I have a 2001 Bullitt aluminum shift ball and I was just wondering how do I clean it to restore it back to its former shine. Right now it has gotten kinda of dull coating on it. thanks

They make this spray called aluma–brite. Not sure where ya get it though...

I really like using Flitz metal polish but it isn't all that cheap.
