Dumped exhaust good or bad idea?

I recently found some axle dumps for free and am considering slapping them on. I have a bbk x pipe no cats and flowmaster super 40's. if I put the dump tip right on the exhaust outlet will it sound bad? How loud will it be over a axle back tail pipe?

When I had dumps all it did was make it louder on the inside and quieter on the outside. Vibrates the seat too. There also wasn't any tone to the exhaust anymore it was just gurgly. I have the same set up as u. Don't get dumps

It also reduces back pressure therefore reduces performance

Back pressure reduces performance.... It doesn't increase it. I agree that dumps are pointless. Itt's gonna sound loud as hell and you're gonna have issues with the exhaust dimes rolling back into the car while sitting at a light.

Back pressure does not increase performance in any way. The myth that it increases torque is false. Why do you think race cars have free flowing exhaust systems?

Again... That's what I said... Where did I say it increases performance?
You said that dumps REDUCE back pressure and reduce performance. If you REDUCE back pressure performance will increase. Needing back pressure is a myth. You lose performance when you reduce exhaust velocity, not back pressure
