Placing my Mustang in storage

Going on a "business trip," over to Afghanistan in early 2014 and will need to place my 2012 Mustang in storage. I'm single so unfortunately no garage to store it in nor will I have anyone to start it. Has anyone else ever had to place their Mustang in storage for an extended period of time? I'm planning on renting out a storage unit and placing it inside along with some household goods. Is their anything I should do for example leave it with a full tank? Never had to store a car for this long seeing that while I was going to and from Germany as a student I left my cars with my parents. Thanks for your help!

Full tank of gas with a stabilizer added.

Overinflate the tires slightly. I would recommend putting it on jack stands with the suspension loaded. If you leave it on the tires you will have serious flat spots.

Get a small disposable dehumidifier box or a few containers of baking soda and leave them inside the cabin.

I would also clean the paint thoroughly and put a fresh coat of wax on it. You then want to put a quality interior car cover on it.

Last but not least spread a box of mothballs under the car to help keep insects and critters out. The smell is much better than cleaning up critter damage.
