Summer driving* the foxbody has everything done to it, ive never seen one fir sale that has everything done to it for that price. Only thing id have to do is get a new clutch because the clutch thats on the car holds 400 pounds of torque and the mustang has 500

The question I have is would you get bored with a car that is already done? I know I would and I would want to build it my way. I think Scotty went through this as well, with a car with previous modifications

I did enough to that car myself, I sold it because I was going to have to drop $12-$15k into it to make it how I wanted. Cost of the car plus what I had done myself to it and then that additional cost was going to put me into mint Coyote or 07-09 GT500 territory so I sold it and I'm saving for that.

If I was the OP, I would not buy a 117k mile Terminator, its going to be beat to ****. Conversely, I highly doubt that fox is THAT clean for that price but you should def go look at it. If it is, jump on it but don't be fooled, rolling back the ODO is REAL easy on a pre 1999 car.

I highly doubt that a 347 stroker is at 500whp without boost.

It could if it has a very high compression ratio and runs high octane racing fuel, and/or nitrous... Most I've seen on a built 347 is 404whp... That's pushing everything to its limit....
But I didn't want to say anything...
Possible argument starter...

Yea 400 seems to be around the normal range. Nitrous I wouldn't really consider NA. So the only option at this point is high compression like you said. But would have to be around a 12-13.0:1 at least for that extra 100. At that point it wouldn't be on pump gas.

Its at 10.5/1 compression, 94 octane. But sirry my bad i thought i mentioned it, the engine is was dynoed at 550rwhp so i was guessing 460-490rwhp

That's more doable...

Just a slight correction. If the engine is dynod it isn't in rwhp since that stands for rear wheel horsepower. When the engine is dynod by itself it is in BHP. Brake Horse Power.

So if what you are saying is true. 500bhp in a foxbody would usually come out to 420s

Something doesn't pass the smell test with this fox IMHO.

What exactly is your budget and if you are looking at a $15k car can you jump it up to $18k? That is lower milage termi range or even decent mileage Coyote. I've seen Coyotes with like 50k miles listed for $17-$18k on various forums and even autotrader.

It's awash with cheap nice Mustangs around me. In fact you can get a clean 05-09 GT for 10-12k US. Don't know where in Canada your at but I would consider having one shipped a lot of dealers around here will work with you on that.
