Yea I had that debate when I got my gt. Machos here are 13-15k. I wouldn't pay 5-7k more just for a 4v

That's the problem, you literally pay double for the 4V and a few other goodies. Rods still let go at the same power level which you can hit easily with either the 2V or 4V.

The GT comes in OW/CO colors as well so... meh... My only gripe with the 99-04 cars is the stupid charcoal interiors. Why they couldn't stay with a true black one is beyond me. That's something else I would probably do if I got an 04, start looking for a 94-98 parts car with a good black interior to swap. Contrary to what ppl will tell you, you can swap the whole interior in an afternoon.

Yea and it's only like a 40hp difference really not worth it imo
