You can run any of the Springs we have on our site. I ran the SR Performance springs on my 2004 Mach 1 and absolutely loved them! They dropped the car 1.5" all around and gave it a very aggressive stance and definitely improved the handling.

You could also go with an Eibach Spring or H&R etc..

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future. Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.

Do you have before and after pictures? I, too, have a 2004 Mach 1 and I am looking to lower my car but I don't know which springs to choose.

Looks good! Why did you choose those springs over others? What would be your second choice? Did you get the caster plates too?

I just put lowering springs in my 03 and they were 2 inches shorter than the ones I took out but it only dropped the front 1 inch and did not lower the back at all. How long does it take for them to settle. Here are before and after

You most likely installed then wrong, there is a little slot that the pigtail must go in

You have to match the end of the pigtail to we're the other one was. There is slot where they go In and the coil stops. You must've messed up because I see no change in the drop. They will settle after a week but you will see a difference right after install. Make sure they are where they belong upside down or anything.

I also replaced the shocks and struts when I put the new springs in. I did put everything back the way it came out, this is not the first time I have in stalled springs. I did do it correct.
