ROAD RANT

I'm driving down the highway (4 lanes, turn lane running down the center), just now, and I see this little commuter car, ahead of me, weaving back and forth between the lanes but staying roughly in the center. Like a cop does for a rolling roadblock. So I stayed behind him, for a bit, to see what was going to happen. Someone tried to pass him and they practically got run off the road. Ok. My turn to go. I waited till he swerved to the right, banged the Bullitt down into second, and went by him, in the turn lane, on the loud pipes. I look over at this guy as I'm going by, and he never looked up from his TEXTING. Not only that, the front of his car was smashed to shiit. Looked fresh too. Lol. Watched him in the rearview for as long as I could see him. Still playing Pac-man down the middle of the road.

Everyone have a good weekend and stay safe!

Lol.
I've been driving for a long time and this was one of the oddest things that I have seen.
He wasn't just making a bobble every now and then, I mean he was aggressively weaving. And when he seemed to get it together enough to keep the car going straight, he was straddling the white line separating the lanes. Lol. After I passed him, it looked like the other people were too scared to pass. I could see the traffic backing up behind him.

Literally, so bad that I would rather take my chances with the damn drunk drivers than this guy...

Why didn't you call the State Police? He is a hazard to everyone on the road, including you!

As I was stuck behind him , I could see that the guy next to me was calling, I suppose, 911. He had to have generated a ton of calls. Lol.

That's the only time that a driver in CA is legally allowed to use a cellphone... To call 911.
