Headers

Looking at Mac Pro chamber headers.cant find stainless and was wondering if the ceramic would keep a nice shine.put hooker on about 13 years ago and they are now rusted.i want something to look nice for a long time.any suggestions?

Ceramic is the way to go. They will not rust or even get that tarnished look that chrome will. I'm have the same issue with the rust. Most likely I will go with the BBK ceramic Shorties. The look in the long run is well worth the $100 extra

Also the ceramics are suppose to trap heat which will overall lover the temp level in your engine bay, can't prove it but that's what I've been told.

I figured the ceramic wouldn't rust but don't know much about them.read a few forums and they did say they won't put off as much heat.can almost touch them after you drive

I agree I have the chrome on my 03 and they tarnish or blue and have the ceramic on my 67 and they don't tarnish heat wise they not sure but I do have the heat shield on my starters.
