If this is it I don't want one. It's too European for me. Granted I like how the fusion and torus look but this is not a good look for the mustang IMO

Ya I agree with ^^^. Not a good photoshop job. Its growing on me with some of the pics I've seen. I'm sure ford wouldn't screw it up being the mustang is insanely popular. I might pick up one as a daily driver and keep my 12 blown 5.0 as the garage queen she already is.

It looks alright, but I'm not kicking myself for buying my 2014 . It would've suck more about 10 years ago. I'd feel ripped off picking up a 2004 when the 2005's were about to come out. Don't get me wrong, I loved my new edge to death, but these new stands are solid.

No thanks...give me a new edge over an s197 any day. Which is why I've owned 3 2004 models.

Funny, I always felt that way about 04 gt's. they weren't heavy but felt like it cuz they are so damn slow. My buddies 04 cobra was quick, then I realized the newer stangs are powerful stock, add a blower to them and the potential is vast.

But that's technology... its gonna happen to any car. Granted they could have started better with the s197's. Maybe a 4v v8 or dohc v6 but whatever its done now and the newer ones are a lot nicer

Well you say that, yet , if you look back to the past, hp numbers laid out in 1971 were not reached or surpassed until the terminator cobra came out. The 429 boss of 1971 had 370hp. Now I know that was a rare model but even the 302 boss was putting out 290 while the 358 was churning just over 280. Those numbers weren't reach until the mid nineties from the cobra and not until 2005 for the gt. I've accepted that I can't know for sure what will come out next anymore than the guy who bought a 429 boss in 1971. I bet he held onto it after the mustang II's came out lol. I assume that the current trend will continue for a while, but It's hard to predict anything with the advent of alternative fuels and electric engines becoming widely available and more feasible.
