I have a pair of ZXE's and they were a nice improvement over the stock bulbs.

I'm just saying...you're going to spend double for dimmer zxe's then a basic 35w kit. Any reason you want a zenon bulb over hid?

awesome!!
no way will you ever melt your housing with HIDs...im guessing you're confusing putting hids in raxiom projectors.

OP use whatever lighting you want...ZXE bulbs are a great upgrade from your stock lights...but no way will they ever be brighter then a 35w hid kit just saying...a ZXE bulb is rated around 900 lumens...a 35w 6k kit is rated for 2400 lumens.

here are zxe bulbs

35w hid 6k

whatever you go with post pics man at least it's something easy to change if the ZXE's don't cut it one day for you.

I wish my HIDs were that bright, but I don't put HIDs in halogen housings

There are zxe fogs with hid headlights in projectors like they are suppose to be. Kinda hard to argue with the crazy glow around the fog lights...

to be honest to me your headlights are putting out way more visible light...your fogs just scatter the light the zxe's put out more. looks good though one day check out DDM...i love 6k 35w's in s197 fog housings.

and thanks for the compliement....new edge housings take to hids really well

I was about to buy ddm HIDs for my fogs and headlights but after buying morimotos 35 watt hid kit with 4300k bulbs and digital ballast.. Yada yada an I've been disappointed. I've got ZXE's to put in the headlights to compare to HIDs but I'm lazy lol

oh god no wonder you were disappointed...4300k is the one color temp i hate with a passion. 5k-6k for best visible light. if you ever want to try out more color temps since you already have the ballasts go on amazon and order some replacement bulbs for like $12 a pair. that's how i change my fogs color temps so much lol...all hid kits are pretty much interchangeable.

6k should just barely have a tinge of blue. could be a crappy brand...i've never heard of morimoto so i'll have to google them. might i suggest ordering some 5k or something then. the HID superstore on amazon has always done me good on bulbs. just read the feedback there's lots of wholesalers on there.
