Maybe getting a 2014?

I've been entertaining the idea of getting a 2014GT closer to the years end. I have a 2012 right now and have had issues with it off and on (nothing major) and I have loved the 13-14s since the day I first saw one. I actually remember going in for an oil change when the 13s were coming in to my local dealer and standing there wishing I would have waited a couple months more lol. I figure with the body style change coming in 2015 that I can sucker a good deal on a 2014 brand new. My biggest concern as of now is what my 2012 will value at when I go to trade it off. By then it will be near 28-30k miles and I'll probably owe around 24-25k on it still. I figure the dealer isn't going to pay it off, but what do you guys think? Is it worth cutting losses on my car to get the 2014? Or should I just keep the 2012?

Honestly, i would just keep the 2012, unless the looks alone are worth the extra money... I personally like the 2012 looks better (not the ugly tail lights though). Just think about if it really is worth the extra money to you.

Yeah I'm having trouble deciding on the money aspect. I could pay the negative equity no problem but don't know if I want to. I had planned on putting all kinds of modifications on my 2012 when it hit 36k, but lost interest after having it almost two years now lol. For how much I pay to ditch the negative equity I could probably get another nice set of wheels and tires or more than half a supercharger.

The whole front end and rear end is different.. And it would be new. Other than that everything would be about the same.

Wait for a 15
I would swap for a 13-14 if the difference is not too big. The 10-12 would look outdated when the 15 comes out and they have them everywhere.
But I would definably try to get a base 15 over a 14 if you can.
