Rear Ended Again

It just happened to me again.
The second time since I bought the car in March.
I was sitting in the left turn lane at a red light and BANG!!!
It looks like it will just be the bumper cover this time.

Oh well (sigh)

Thanks Horseplay. Its really not that bad. The bumper popped back out and it has the scrapes that you would expect. And a dime sized hole. The worst of It is, I think that it broke the back of the drivers seat...

If it makes you feel any better you aren't the only one who was in an accident today.

I tried to add a photo, but the app is being annoying. You can see a couple in the "What did you do with your mustang today" thread. There is a small crack in the bumper that you may or may not notice.

I don't know how the pictures were added. I can only assume witchcraft.

Yeesh!!!
When I was a kid my best friends mom totalled her 64.5 Mustang when she hit a deer.

Thanks for trying to cheer me up, but I've never found comfort in other peoples misery.

I'm sorry that happened to you...

I just got the report back from the insurance adjuster, $1800 in damage. Most importantly though at the top it said that my car was in excellent condition.

Will the insurance cover it?

I spoke with the insurance company this morning and everything is all set. My car goes in the shop tomorrow...

They cover everything but the $500 deductible; I have to wait until the 30th before I can get it into the shop.

Oh well, at least it will help...

In your case I would be footing the whole repair bill.
I'm the insurance company when it comes to comprehensive.

I only carry PL and PD on this car...

That's why I let off the brake a little to move a couple feet when I see someone coming up behind me at a light! I trust NO other drivers. Glad to know I'm not paranoid.

Lol.

The light had just turned green when I saw her bearing down on my *** end...

I should have just punched it but the sight in my rearview mirror distracted me.

Lol mine has done that few times. Says crashed, then I back out and it is there. Had a deer cross in front of me Sunday night. Luckilly I was feeling ill slowing down just before. Even better because I just unclipped belt because I was going to pull over. I've been seeing them almost every night coming home from two of my jobs.

I thought that I had missed it, but then bam and a couple expletives shortly there after. Luckily I hit it and not the guy I was cruising with who was on a motorcycle.
