"I spend to much money on my car"

Has anyone ever told you this? lately I have been kind of obsessed with modding and adding new parts that I would need in the future ahead of time to get everything the way I want it and have no problems or questions about it. Some tell me I spend to much and I should stop and save money for something else, I always defend myself lol. I figured it was a way to keep me busy when I'm not working which is always or in school.

haha now that's hilarious. I'm not that bad off, and I do save paychecks and money, I have all my other bills payed before I spend money on my car. Just trying to have fun while I can!

Almost all the time.

Even was told "You're spending x,xxx on the transmission! And you still spend x,xxx on suspension and exhaust... Why?????"
I'm be like "car needs it. Not my fault ford didn't make them the way I want."

Haha same way with me, I wanted this mustang the first time I put eyes on it. it had a good bit of miles so I knew stuff would need replaced or upgraded, if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right the first time. so slowly I have been replacing and upgrading. It's something girlfriends and moms won't understand.

In my case it's everyone I know. Expect mechanic, and car friends. Lol
They be like "use it to build a business" I'm b like that won't make me happy, I'll never have time for cars if I did that. I wanna wait on that. /:
Friends car/mechanic b like "twin turbo it, rtc" I be like getting there!!
Lol

going by your sig you dont look to have spent that much, just things here and there (aka the fun part). I see nothing wrong with it unless you are not paying bills or going hungry lol. The more mods you do the more issues you run into or the quicker you run out of things that are cheap thats when the real fun starts.... lol

well there is a lot that isn't in the sig like an entire sound system I did, or little odds and ends. There is a lot of custom fabrication I have done to that has even saved me money. Speaking of which I should update my sig sometime soon lol

All the time.... I'm always saving for new parts. Next on the list, electric cutouts and cams.

Even my dad says that, but whenever he is talking with someone else and my car comes up he will alway say how nice it looks or how good it sounds. Secretly he likes my car lol

Same with mine! he tells me to save my money, but when I order something new or change something he's the first to like it or even help. Or when someone asks about it or he brings it up he is all about the mustang!

My money mostly goes to bills, food, and beer. I don't really spend on new toys. Might as well put the surplus into savings and into a good hobby!
