Good price for a new v6?

Hey guys just wondering what a good price is for a '14 v6. My mom wants a car again after driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee for a few years and I'm gonna try to talk her into a new v6 mustang.

I've found a few local ones with 20,000 and less miles for less than $25,000 all being '13 or '14s. Thanks

I would wait a bit until the 2015's start to hit the dealerships, then the 2014's will have great incentives on them.

I would personally look to pay invoice price (look it up) before any rebates etc so the price would be below invoice when its all said and done, on top of that you may can haggle some.

sometimes you can find a brand new car for cheaper (due to rebates and better interest rates which over time save more money) so consider that vs used and see which works for you at the time.

Used can also be a great investment and might workout better, just gotta compare the numbers.

Depends on which trim you get. The V6 Premium is more expensive than the Base model. I got a new 2014 base model and paid just under 19,000 before TTL.

Let me know exactly what you are looking for, be it a V6 premium Auto, or base V6 manual. I sell Fords for a living i'll make sure to keep your local dealer honest at the very least. If you can find a 13 they are offering 0% and 3K in rebates just FYI, they may be hard to find new but if you can score one they are killer deals right now. 14's currently have 2k in rebates, at least until the end of the month. If you want you can PM me i'll be happy to help

Thanks for the help guys.

I don't think she will want to wait til the 15 hits, not sure tho.

She likes to have everything in a car, so it will most likely be a premium model

Thanks! I probably will pm you. I will have to look harder for a new 13 most of them were certified or used.

It will most likely be a premium and definitely an auto

I don't really have anything to contribute to the thread (sorry). I got my '14 (base w/ tech package) in May for just over $21,000. I don't think that's much of a deal but that's all I got.

Mine was also the pony package with a lot of other goodies, it's all about how you deal with the dealer, having a trade makes it easier

I got my 2012 new with the Performance Package and appearance package, got the price down to $24k + incentives, walked out for like $22k + 0% APR. You just have to time the incentive right, I think now they're doing like $4-5k cash back in the Southeast.

Not really. Having a trade means you have another negotiation to do: the price the dealer wants to give you on your trade.

Being pre-financed is going to be your easiest deal. If you are a member of a credit union, or have a personal bank account, go there and get pre-approved for a new car loan. Then go out and buy the car as a cash deal.

I just bought my 2014 Premium V6 for 23K after $3000 in rebates. Hard to find a 2013 in the color you want with the things you want but it's possible. And buying used, you want to make sure you get a very good deal because of the incentives on the new. I got the side window louver/scoop package and 3:31 gears.

Just gotta do your research before you head into the dealership. I saw a couple of similar deals at different dealerships around the city and used those as leverage to get a better deal at my dealership.
