Thoughts on sr performance

Are their products any good? I see how cheap they are but is it quality stuff? Or should I stay away from them?

SR stuff is just good enough to think you bought something good. Anything they make you can get a much better brand for not much more money.

About to buy some sr springs, how bad of a squeak should I expect with no isolators? Or should I just use isolators?

Always use isolators. Get poly ones if you don't want rubber.

SR springs are great for a decent drop and improved handling over the stock springs. They'll drop your Mustang up to 1.5" both in the front and rear. Were you looking for a lower drop than that? If that's the case, there are other lowering springs to choose from. However, I don't think you'll be able to beat the cost of the SR springs!

Let me know what you're looking for and we'll figure something out for you!

Shane

thanks Shane! I believe I will be going with the sr springs. Can I get away with caster/camber bolts with these?

You should. I'd get them first and then get an alignment and see if you'll need more

For 79-04 Mustangs I always recommend picking up a set of Caster/Camber plates. Those years tend to need a CC plate in order to achieve a proper alignment. However, I've seen a few guys run the Eibach camber bolts instead too.

If it were my New Edge Mustang, I'd go with CC plates. If it were an S197, that's a different story!

Shane
