Error Code Deleting Options

I'm planning on getting a tune soon, but I'm cheap and want to get the chip vs the handheld, but the chip doesn't clear codes. I know the AeroForce Gauges do clear codes, but I'm just trying to see if there are other options. Does anyone else know how to clear codes. It's really annoying because it's just the emissions code, but not $100 worth.
Thanks for any input.

those two tricks will clear the code, but will not let it pass emissions at least in TN. They still have the saved memory bank that they will see when they plug it into their machine. My advice OP is to either pay for a proper tune to clear the code or fix the issue to make it go away on it's own.

I went to a shop and they reset it, but it came back on. I also did the battery thing, though I heard it could do damage

So you have to get it fixed or it will keep on popping up. No it won't harm the car

I don't remember the exact codes, but it was foe a small or large leak in the emissions system
