Best fluid for MT82

Im looking to try a different fluid with hopes of some kind of improvement, I plan on keeping the OEM stuff to cover myself if the transmission decides to explode, I would like to hear which fluids people have had luck with

Why post two of the same posts? Just be patient or search. I know that answer of opinion is on here because Ive stumbled upon it from searching on here about the mt82.

Royal purple, amsoil mtg and redline mtl have all been recommended. Royal purple being the bigger name in fluids.

Get the TSB dual clutch fluid or Ford will void your warranty on the spot

Oh ok and doesn't that void the warranty?

Never mind, I just read the posts above and it does lol

I also read that 13's and 14's come with the dual clutch fluid from the factory.

No the dual clutch fluid is the required fluid now. The 13-14 have it. The 11-12 have a TSB for the full synthetic to be replaced with the dual clutch fluid

or even better, out of what fluids other that the Focus Dual Clutch fluid is there an option of without voiding the warranty?

Idk if the replacing the fluid would void the warranty if it meets or exceeds Ford's specs. I'm going with redline mtl. Amoil mtg and rp synchromesh are also great to.

based on what's above..... it seems like if it's not a ford products it will void your warranty. I've only heard great things about amsoil and royal purple so i would probably stick with that, but as this is my DD for now and not a toy/track car and i have another 16k on the bumper to bumper i don't want to void it for something as silly as a fluid swap.

The whole void warranty thing depends on the dealership. I had my PCM short out on me. I was sure they would not cover it under warranty bc of everything done to my car. But they did, warranty took care of everything. They swaped out my pcm. Only thing that sucked at that time was I lost all my tunes.
