Vortech Supercharger

I have a 1994 Mustang Cobra 5.0 I would like to Install a Vortech Supercharger. My question is do I need to upgrade any parts before or after the Vortech Installation? Also which Vortech Charger should I buy?

You can piece together your own kit on Superchargersonline.com for around $700, then buy a used unit for around $500-800. It will be an un-intercooled set up though, but you it shouldn't be that hard to add an intercooler to it. Also, doing that won't include the fuel system upgrades most kits have so you will need new injectors, and a new pump probably. And you will absolutely require a dyno tune after that. So if you go that route you are looking at $2k max for a decent set up.

Or you could buy a brand new kit for $4k+ from Vortech. That will come with everything you need.

Don't know much but heard the On3 kits are cheap and have been a major success for many buyers. You could look at those

Yea there are a few people on here who have gotten the On3 kit and they said that once its installed properly and everything its a good kit, but it is the biggest nightmare trying to get all the parts and get them installed.

So Vortech don't send all the parts, how do I know if I'm missing parts. Does it come with a installation book and it show you all the parts?

Should send an install guide but not sure. I know they have one on their website though.

Vortech will usually send everything, it is On3Performance that usually leaves stuff out.

Oh ok, I'm ordering from Vortech. On my 94 mustang my center timeclock console the clock is not working, it doesn't come on, no lights it's just a blank screen. Do you have a solution to this problem?
