Although I will say I have not had the race tune in since I put the headers on so it might be a little different now since it picked up torque in the low and mid range.
That's not performance... That's your 6th gear ratio....

Since I can set the cruise at 60 and hold it with the performance and loose a little on the race I would say it is the tune parameters over gear ratio. Same car, same hills and pretty close to the same weather.

Well the race tune is for high end power
Performance/street tunes have more low end. Have you tried the hybrid tune?

I've got the hybrid 93 on my car, 07 V6. When you get on it, the car is absolutely without question, A BEAST. I haven't checked the other tunes, but the car pulls massively throughout the rpm.

I'd be interested in seeing if you guys hear that bov-like sound when you the car goes from 1 to 2 when you slam it. Let me know.

And, you won't be disappointed

I run the Bama PERFORMANCE tune with my 04 GT, AUTO, and when I jump on it, the car gets a nice hard chirp when I hit 2nd, and a little chirp into 3rd. Love my tuner, must have for the Mustangs
