Picked up these louvers for $100 I'm not sure if I like the look, it very we'll could be that they are black and my car is blue that's throwing me off, anyway was thinking about having them painted to match, but before I do just wanted to hear how some of you feel about the louver look, thanks!

IMO id paint it to match your car or maybe black out your tail lights so there's some more black. I see what you're saying. Still looks sick though

This is what bothers me, if you follow the roof line to the louver, the louver gives the impression that its taller than the roof, I'm thinking it's the color contrast that gives this impression, what do you guys think?

Would you leave them flat black or paint them gloss black?

I would think gloss would look better. If you had some matte accents then I would say to leave it as is

.

The only reason i like the aluminum louvers better than the plastic is because they've got somewhat of a gloss too them. Put a glossy black paint on those, and you're pimpin' pimpin.

Yeah I know I was going to get those because I like how the reverse light is but when I bought mine the guy asked me how dark I wanted mine. I told him smoke them as dark as he could and he did!

You can see in the pic that this dude got his dark but still has the reverse light Vs mine that are all blacked out. So it is possible lol
