Tune questions

I personally own an 02 GT but am looking into this 08 GT
Has comp mutha thumpa cams
3.73 gears
Cold air intake etc and a few other things anyway
It comes with a Diabloaport handheld programer, can I buy a tune to help the engine with the cams that I can have emailed to me or do I need a professional tune at like a shop ? Thanks in advance

To get the best results out of everything you'll want to get a custom dyno tune. It helps everything work the best for your car. I also believe you have to have one for your the cams

My SCT SF3 holds 10 tunes. You can store more on your computer than can be switched out on your tuner. Can't imagine needing more than 10 tunes on your tuner at any given time.

IIRC Bama cannot tune for cams. However, the previous owner should have already had it tuned for the cams so you may be good there.

Honestly the best thing you can do is call around any local tuners near you and get some quotes for a custom dyno tune. Likely to run $600 but you'll get it completely dialed in in realtime on a wideband.
